This year will be the 10th birthday celebration for Via Arte, one of the Museum's main events, with crowds visiting from throughout California so see the work of very talented street painting artists of all levels of experience. Local and visiting artists will be participating in creating their own fine street paintings, some of their own design and others with traditional art themes.
Many special events are planned for the celebration, including an area in which artists will be selling themed birthday cake and cupcake art pieces during the festival. For the young children who wish to street painting too - the popular Via Bambino area will be open for them to create their own small sidewalk art works.
