Street Painting artist Lorelle Miller has had a very busy summer street painting, the previous weekend found her in Glen Ellyn, IL at the Madonnari Off Main Event creating a reproduction of the painting 'Union' by Contstantino Brumidi, a famous painting in the collection of the White House.
The theme for Madonnari Off Main this year was 'Celebrate America' and Lorelle found 'Union' after a thoughtful effort for the selection of the special piece for the event.
In the photo above, Director of Madonnari on Main Tracey Kreiling is seated at the left and Lorelle (in the hat) is on the right. (The piece was accomplished in approximately fourteen hours time.)
Lorelle says " No matter what part of the nation I seem to visit, street painting speaks to them all. A visual language that appeals to all ages, all backgrounds, street painting is a wonderous thing."
