The group of madonnari called CCAM creates street painting related art for many different projects and festivals in Italy, Europe, and worldwide. Recently the group was invited to create street paintings for “La Sagra di San Rocco” in Ghedi, a small town near Brescia, outside of Milan, Italy. CCAM’s Maestra Mariangela Cappa, Cinzia Bandiera and Bruno Fabriani designed a night called “White Night”, drawing images to honor the Feast of Saint Catherine of Siena and Alexandria in Egypt. The street painting art could not be drawn on the street as it usually is because the drawings were to be auctioned off to the public. So the madonnari drew with chalk on wooden planks 120 cm x 100 cm in size. Have a look at their beautiful chalk artwork!
