Recently, madonnaro Bruno Fabriani (Italy) participated in the Colors of Willemstad Festival in Curacao. During the week Bruno was there, he taught a few workshops for local artists, showing them basic techniques of street painting. He said he really enjoyed sharing this 400+ year old art form with eager students.
Workshops with Bruno. The young adults learn basic techniques of street painting.
Bruno had a fun time alongside fellow street painters (l to r): Jennifer Chaparro, Melanie Stimmel, Rod Tryon, Tracy Stum and Bruno Fabriani.
Bruno volunteered his time for this festival and for his sponsor, he created a fun street painting of an angel wearing sneakers of his sponsor.
Street painting is very new to Curacao, but was much appreciated by the public.
