Hi everyone from Blog Now on streetpainting.tv.
3D street painting artist Michael Macaulay checks in with some pictures of his latest 3D street painting at the 'Party for the Planet' event at the Roger Williams Zoo in Providence, RI.
Mike's 3D street painting was a quick one, completed in about five hours time, measuring 8' x 10' in size.
3D street paintings will look different on an angle, which shows the artists skill in making the image drawn on the ground look correct and illusionary when viewed through a camera lens. The art work is correctly viewed at the front of the art work at a fixed point set by the artist.
At the Zoo, there were many family friendly activities to engage the visitors, with Mike's 3D street painting being a popular destination for the huge crowds on hand. The weather was great, and Mike had a great time sharing his artistry and creativity with everyone.
