3D street painting (chalk) artist Shawn McCann created an integrated 3D street painting, blending imagery on a concrete vertical panel and the concrete floor surface as one 3D illusion to entertain attendees of a Gala celebrating the reopening of the Weisman Art Museum after the completion of a $14 million dollar remodelling project.
The Museum, designed by distinquished architect Frank Gehry, was an impressive backdrop for Shawn's design of the Minneapolis skyline via the Mississippi river.
Blog Now on streetpainting.tv is supportive of all street painting artists who enjoy bringing innovation in street painting art and Shawn's work with more than one surface to create an integrated whole illusion is a perfect example of creating such work.
