As we remember our Nation's Veterans on this Veterans' Day, we look forward to sharing our respect for them in our exhibition street art piece at the Sarasota Chalk Festival. Please stop by during the festival to see the creation and display of 'Liberty Tree'. Our post is below:
‘Liberty Tree’
By Art for After Hours team of Anthony Cappetto (US), Wendy Stum (US), and Vero Gonzalez (Mexico)
In the spirit of the historic theme of the Liberty Tree in which the famous quotation by Thomas Jefferson stated:
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
We intend to ignore the tyrants completely, but honor all US Veterans. Upon completion of our piece, we invite those
who have are serving, have served, or those who have loved ones who gave their
lives for this country to chalk their names on the leaves of the Liberty Tree.
